At age 49, Stuart Scott, a man who changed the way America watched sports, succumbed to cancer early this morning.
Stuart brought to ESPN a fresh voice, for a new generation and enticed us to not only watch, but inspired this new viewer to dream that we could be a part of a National broadcasting dialogue, no matter the color of our skin.
Stuart’s moving speech at the 2014 Espy Awards caught the attention of not only sports fans, but the world. I remember watching this through tears of hope and inspiration. I tweeted how moved I was.

Stuart was the father of two daughters, who meant the world to him, Taelor and Sydni.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
BOO – YAH!!!!
